Floyd, Pflueger & Ringer, P.S. has over 30 years’ experience and has built an impressive record of civil litigation victories.   We seek two experienced litigation/insurance defense associates with at least three years’ experience.  Strong research and writing skills are required.  We are looking for associates who desire to work in a fast-faced litigation environment where all opinions and ideas are valued and considered.  Our associates are immediately involved in motions, depositions, discovery and court hearings including trials. 

Responsibilities will include all aspects of a defense litigation practice including drafting and opposing motions; conducting depositions; court appearances, mediations/arbitrations, and trial. Experience working with insurance companies and within their respective guidelines is a plus, but not required. 

Compensation is negotiable, based upon qualifications and experience.  All inquiries are confidential.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active membership in a Washington state bar (Oregon State bar a plus)
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Must be a team player with a desire to collaborate and see others succeed
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
  • Ability to handle a variety of matters simultaneously to meet client demands
  • Excellent research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Clerkship experience a plus, but not required.
