Job Openings

Currently, we seek an experienced litigation/insurance defense associate with at least three years’ experience.  Strong research and writing skills are required.  Clerkship experience a plus.  Responsibilities will include all aspects of a defense litigation practice including drafting and opposing motions; conducting depositions; court appearances, mediations/arbitrations, and trial. Experience working with insurance companies and within their respective guidelines is a plus, but not required.

We currently seek a seasoned Paralegal Assistant to join our litigation team.

Responsibilities:
Draft and submit stipulations, subpoenas, public records requests and other necessary documentation to obtain medical, employment, SSA, tax, and other records;
manage all record activities including working with retrieval vendors and paralegals;
process all incoming physical and electronic record documents; and
assist with incoming and outgoing file transfers.

Qualifications:
At least two years’ prior experience with multiple types of record acquisitions; understanding knowledge of court rules, HIPPA regulations; ability to multi-task with attention to detail; work effectively and accurately under tight deadlines; strong time management and organizational skills; 
excellent written communication skills; and  proficiency in MS Office Suite and working knowledge of document management system.

FP&R offers an excellent compensation and benefit package for full-time employees including medical, vision, prescription, dental, life and LTD insurance, subsidized transportation costs, PTO, and 401K/Profit Sharing and Safe Harbor Plan contribution. This position is full-time but part-time will be considered for a qualified candidate. Salary $25/hour DOE.
