Drew Carson joined Floyd, Pflueger & Ringer, Of Counsel, in March 2023. He brings a wealth of litigation experience to the firm with primary emphasis on complex commercial litigation, insurance defense, and employment law. He is licensed to practice in Washington and Ohio.
Drew is originally from Ohio where he practiced for 32 years. In Ohio, Drew was a partner with the Cleveland, Ohio firm Miller Goler Faeges LLP practicing complex commercial litigation. Also, during his time in Ohio, the Attorney General’s Office appointed him on two separate occasions to represent the state and state officers in defense of class actions. Drew followed a burning desire to relocate to Seattle in 2018. Just prior to relocating, Drew served as an Assistant Director of Law for the City of Cleveland, leading their Labor and Employment Practice section.
Drew received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College in 1979. Prior to attending law school, he taught special education for two years and worked as a corporate paralegal at Jones Day. Drew graduated from Case Western Reserve University’s School of Law in 1986. While in law school, Drew served as an editor of the school’s international Law Journal as well as attending an international law program sponsored by Yale Law School. He is a member of the bar of the Northern and Southern Federal District Courts of Ohio and the Sixth and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals as well as the Western and Eastern Federal District Courts of Washington.
Drew’s personal interests include a lifelong devotion to the works of Shakespeare and traveling anywhere time affords.
