Emily Ann Albrecht joined Floyd, Pflueger & Ringer as a Senior Associate in December 2021. Her practice generally focuses on civil defense litigation. She also has a passion for the niche practice area of funeral law and is one of a handful of attorneys across the country who work closely with the death care industry.
Emily has extensive experience in insurance defense litigation, including personal injury, product liability, premises liability, professional liability and asbestos litigation. She has defended clients ranging from Fortune 500 retailers, manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies, insurers and contractors in construction disputes to funeral homes, crematories, licensed funeral directors and embalmers.
Emily graduated from Georgetown University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Psychology and received her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2013.
She is licensed to practice in the State of Washington, United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Emily has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. She also serves as the current Chair of Washington State Bar Association’s Washington Young Lawyers Committee.
When not at work, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband Joey and their dog Ted Jones while sipping on a glass of nice dry rosé wine from Provence, France.
