Kerry B. Gress

Kerry is the Vice President of Floyd, Pflueger, Kearns, Nedderman & Gress, P.S. and has been with the firm since 2001. Kerry focuses his practice on the defense of complex, high exposure, commercial general liability litigation involving catastrophic personal injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and wrongful death claims.

Kerry successfully defends cities and municipal districts including departments of transportation, fire departments, and police departments; general contractors and sub-tier contractors in catastrophic construction-related injuries and accidents; pharmacies and first responders in medical malpractice claims; product manufacturers and sellers in product liability and product defect lawsuits; and commercial entities involving transportation and fleet-related collisions. Kerry has an outstanding track record of successfully obtaining dismissals for his clients on countless motions for summary judgment and has prevailed on multiple directed verdicts and defense verdicts at trial.

Kerry graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington in 1997 and from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California in 2001. His education focused on oral advocacy, trial advocacy, and alternative dispute resolution. Kerry received the Certificate Degree from the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution, continually rated the top program by US News & World Reports. He is peer review rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and was selected by Super Lawyers in 2009.

Kerry is an avid fan of the University of Washington Huskies, takes advantage of the Pacific Northwest outdoors, and enjoys every moment with his wife, two daughters, and Romi, the family’s King Charles Cavalier Spaniel.
